The bill (Reg. No. 3407) suggests entitle employees of uranium ore extraction (processing)
enterprises with the right to compensation for payment of communal services at the cost
of subventions from the state budget to local budgets.

People’s deputies stressed that under the applicable law, only coal mining enterprises and their employees are provided with free coal and compensations. Participants of discussion believe that the suggestion to entitle employees of uranium ore extraction (processing) enterprises with the right to compensation for payment of communal services at the cost of subventions from the state budget to local budgets is “illogical for the abovementioned enterprises do not do not have such a resource as coal.”
Apart from this, the suggested legislative initiative requires amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine.
